Chief Operating Officer
After a successful career in the property management industry where she dealt with the portfolios of a number of Blue-chip clients and was involved in some high-profile shopping centre refurbishments, Claire moved into the education field in 2003. Initially working in the maintained sector within a federation of schools, Claire was at the forefront of the academy conversion process in 2009 and again in 2014.
Her role covered the majority of non-teaching functions within education with a particular focus on finance, HR and facilities. Claire successfully managed two build programmes, the latest being a £23.5million new build/refurbishment, to their conclusion and, as a senior manager played an active part in Trust Board meetings and influenced policy direction for her academy.
Claire’s role involves supporting academies in ensuring they manage their human resources and estates effectively and actively operate group policies and procedures to ensure the best educational outcomes for pupils across The Trust.
She is responsible for developing an estates strategy that will lead all Academy Transformation Trust schools through the 21st Century as well as ensuring we become the employer of choice.Back
