Our Institute (ATTI) was officially established in September 2020.

It has one simple ambition: to support the professional development needs of all our ATT colleagues.

Irrespective of our roles within our trust family, we all accept our responsibility to make things better for children and young people and to help ensure that our teachers can deliver a top-drawer education. Our ATTI is the professional embodiment of our trust commitment to #TransformingLives – transforming life chances for children, young people, their families and their communities along with the professional lives of our colleagues.

We also know we have a professional duty to keep improving through engagement in our people development activities. This ensures the relationship between our academies and our communities, where educators work with pupils, parents and carers and communities is the best it can possibly be.

Our ATTI also ensures those in our wider academy communities can develop their learning as our colleagues use their local leadership to develop and lead others beyond their academies. As our ATTI evolves it will, naturally, lead to a whole system of improvement and transform more lives and more communities.

If you would like to find out more about the immediate impact of our ATTI, please watch the video of our presentation at the Learnit Live international education conference in March 2021.
