Diane is the former Executive Headteacher of the Inclusive Learning Federation which consists of a special school for children aged 5-11 with social, emotional and mental health and complex needs and two mainstream primary schools. Diane has had experience of working in most sectors of education including early years, primary, secondary and special schools and a further education college. As inspector for CPD/a school improvement partner working for Staffordshire County Council, she also had extensive experience of adult education and training. A large proportion of Diane’s career has been supporting schools in moving out of an Ofsted category.

Diane has a real passion for ensuring all children have the best educational experience irrespective of their personal and family circumstances. She also believes in the importance of CPD for career development and has supported the development of trainee teachers and leaders. Leadership and management are areas of interest and were the focus of her Doctorate in Education.
