I am an experienced science educator and a member of the science leadership team in my school, with over 20 years of teaching experience across GCSE science and A-level Biology and Chemistry. Alongside my teaching and leadership responsibilities, I have developed a strong interest in teacher development and the training of novice teachers. I am a trained mentor with expertise in instructional coaching and evidence-informed professional development, supported by the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development. I also contribute to initial teacher training by delivering the physics subject course for trainee teachers through Ambition Institute.
My professional focus is on bridging research and classroom practice, supporting trainee and early career teachers to develop confident, effective and reflective teaching.
