Our ATTI Fellows facilitate our National Professional Qualifications and the Early Career Framework, and exciting new Initial Teacher Training Programme!
The role includes being an expert facilitator for online and face to face sessions, monitoring and encouraging engagement of participants, working closely with co-facilitators, the delivery partner and lead provider to ensure a high quality professional development experience, and using no more marking to grade candidate assignment submissions.

NPQ facilitators are outstanding leaders, with experience in a role relating to the qualification/programme for which they facilitate. They also have strong knowledge of the evidence base underpinning common areas for school improvement and a motivation to continually update their knowledge and skills relating to pedagogy and school leadership.
Facilitating our accredited courses is an opportunity to develop your own understanding of the golden thread of high-quality, evidence-informed professional development. You will also support new and developing leaders to acquire the knowledge base to lead improvements in their own settings, building links across our ATT academies and wider into the educational community.
You will receive facilitator training direct from Ambition Institute, preparing you to be a fully fledged facilitator. You will receive payment for your time and cover costs will be reimbursed to your academy. Other benefits include exposure to seminal thinkers in education, being part of a community of like-minded people, visits to other academies, cross-phase working and access to a ring-fenced pot of money for conferences, books & journals to drive your professional development.
Applications for our felowships are currently closed. They will open again in early 2025.
