Session | ‘Let’s just do everything’: Taking a Radical Approach to Secondary Reading Intervention
The session will present a successful & intensive evidence-based reading intervention which we developed & implemented 3 yrs ago in our 11-18 comprehensive. It will explore the research base, curriculum, methodology, practice findings, impact & developments involved, including discussion of sustained quantitative & qualitative impact, cross-trust replication & SEND adaptations. The session will raise questionss around the benefits and challenges of radical secondary reading intervention and invite debate.
