Session: A Mental Model for Teacher Decision Making
Using my research as a EdD student and my role as Deputy Headteacher (Raising Standards), I have devised a four-step approach to support effective decision making in the classroom. Using elements of action research, means of participation and coaching, this model enables school leaders with a structure through which to support effective teaching, but creating the mental model needed to empower teachers and raise standards.
