One Staff, One Culture: Building Equitable and Evidence Informed Professional Learning
with Elliot Hahn
This session challenges the assumption that professional development is only for teachers and leaders. Every adult in school plays a vital educational role—leading, delivering, enabling or supporting—and should be part of the PD curriculum. Drawing on EEF guidance and practice‑based case studies, we will explore how schools and trusts can build an equitable, evidence‑informed learning culture that values all roles, strengthens belonging, and positioning staff as active contributors to learning.
Beyond SEND: Creating a Joined‑Up Inclusion Core Offer That Works
with Jacqui Ferris
This session explores how a SEND core offer was designed, implemented and scaled across academies—and why it was broadened to include Early Help. Drawing on implementation evidence and impact data, we’ll argue that inclusion only works when systems are designed to act earlier, more consistently and for all pupils—not just those with labels.
