That’s why we’re developing Elevating Women, a series of ongoing opportunities for female leaders and those with leadership ambitions. Join a community of strong and inspiring women and learn to balance your personal commitments and development as you continue on your leadership journey!

Our Next Session:

Lowering the Ladder

We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Elevating Women programme- Lowering the Ladder! At this special event, we’re exploring how we can support the development of the next generation of female leaders and pave the way for them to succeed. We’re excited to include both our colleagues and external partners at this in-person event, which is open to all. We’ll also be joined by some special guest speakers:

  • Kiran Satti- WomenEd Network Leader and book contributor,  Assistant Principal and National Literacy Lead
  • Liz Barrett OBE DL- ATT Further Education Principal and Deputy Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire
  • Louisa Pritchard- Principal of Ofsted Outstanding Bristnall Hall Academy

Lots of people struggle with feelings of self doubt, both at work and in their personal lives- and often don’t realise that other peopke feel that way! Our interactive webinar You’re Not an Imposter! was developed to help our colleagues navigate the symptoms of imposter syndrome affecting them at work and in the rest of their lives, and to help our leaders support their staff to have confidence in their abilities and reach the potential we know they have.

We kicked off our Elevating Women programme with a spectacular webinar from the amazing Jaz Ampaw-Farr. Jaz is an award-winning speaker, educator, mother, and ‘positive disruptor’ whose incredible story helps inspire others to be ‘10% braver’. This session was attended by colleagues across our Trust looking to learn how to better support female leaders within their academy or setting.
