ATT Institute has partnered with Ambition Institute to deliver our ECT programme. You’ll benefit from the dedication of a small team of expert providers, backed by the powerhouse of Ambition, who have worked with over 53,000 ECTs and mentors since 2021 and are rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Our Trust operates across the Midlands and East of England. We have two Hub locations, in Sutton Coldfield in the West, and Mildenhall in the East. ECTs spend the vast majority of time in school, but will occasionally need to attend a conference at one of these hub locations.
“Guiding new teachers through the ECF has allowed me to share my knowledge, experiences and insights, helping them to shape their professional growth and development.”
Asima, ECF Facilitator
“The structure of the programme is carefully planned, which means our participants are motivated to learn and highly engaged with conferences and clinics.”

Benefits for your Early Career Teachers
Benefits for your ECF Mentors
Our ECT programme is an induction course tailored to the needs of early career teachers, using an evidence-informed, bite-sized curriculum. It equips your teachers with the knowledge they need to make a real impact over the course of their careers.
Quality Curriculum
Support your early career teachers in their day-to-day practice with a bite-sized, flexible curriculum. A three-strand curriculum is designed to equip ECTs with the knowledge they need, covering behaviour, instruction, and subject. They’ll understand how students learn, enabling them to develop into effective and adaptable practitioners.
Research-Proven Methods
Our programme makes use of instructional coaching, one of the best-evidenced forms of PD to benefit student outcomes. Instructional coaching helps new teachers to improve their expertise through deliberate practice, focusing on developing knowledge and improving efficiency. Your early career teachers will benefit from bite-sized content and tailored, observational feedback to help them to keep getting better over time.
Steplab
Your Early Career Teachers benefit from access to the innovative teacher-designed Steplab platform. Steplab provides a seamless digital coaching environment to help ECTs organise their learning in one place, and ensure mentors can provide high-quality mentoring without adding to their workload.
