We’re thrilled to share that ATT is the winner of the Staff Development Award at the MAT Excellence Awards 2025! We’re extremely proud to have received recognition for all the hard work of our colleagues to transform professional development through our ATT Institute.
The MAT Excellence Awards by Optimus Education are an annual event giving Trusts the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and recognise their impact on learners, colleagues and their wider community. In awarding ATT for Staff Development, Optimus Education said:
Academy Transformation Trust’s focus on all staff was clear. They have implemented a strong strategy for impactful professional development through tailored training, collaborative communities, and leadership programmes. They empower colleagues in all roles to grow, connect, and undertake research relevant to their role which forms part of a cycle of implementation and reflection. They have supported academy improvement, fostered personal growth, and secured a strong pipeline of talent.
Director of ATT Institute Cat Rushton thanked colleagues for their input at our Trust-Wide Professional Development Day on Friday 20th June. “This recognition is a testament to the incredible dedication and collaborative efforts of our Institute team, PD Leads, Institute Fellows, and all the colleagues who lead and participate in our extensive range of professional development activities”.
The ATT Institute team have worked tirelessly to craft a comprehensive and inclusive PD offer for all colleagues across our Trust and we are delighted that our efforts have been acknowledged by the judges. We would also like to wish a heartfelt congratulations to the other incredible Trusts, schools and education professionals who recieved nominations and awards this year.
