Lisa has been working in education for 22 years. She studied Music and English Literature at Liverpool Hope University and went on to complete a PGCE in secondary education at Worcester University.

Lisa relocated back to the midlands in 2003 to teach Music. Having a passion for Performing Arts, she became a Head of Music within 3 years, leading on several school musicals and running very successful extracurricular groups. She then progressed onto Creative Arts Director in September 2008.

In September 2016, Lisa became Associate Assistant Headteacher leading on Post 16 and completed the NPQSL. In September 2017, she became Assistant Principal at Pool Hayes Academy. With a passion for leading on transition and Sixth Form, she had found her perfect role.

In 2022,Lisa was appointed Vice Principal leading on Quality of Education and Outcomes, having been successful in leading on Post 16 outcomes. She completed the NPQH qualification in August 2023. Most recently, Lisa has been appointed Head of Academy at Pool Hayes, a role she is very proud to be taking on. With a passion for education, a commitment to student success, and a wealth of experience, she brings inspiring leadership and a clear vision for the future of Pool Hayes Academy.
