Neil Harding started his career in Secondary education 32 years ago and has worked in a variety of roles. He entered the profession as he believes in the power of education to provide social mobility and to light the fires of curiosity and inspiration. He has never lost sight of that core mission in his work.

Neil worked in the Catholic Secondary school system for a number of years, which included leading on Specialist school status and a project to develop and create a brand new Sixth form. In launching this project he led the Sixth Form as its Director for a number of years and enjoyed the challenge.

Neil has experience in leading Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and Pastoral teams. Since 2020 he has been the Principal of The Queen Elizabeth Academy in Atherstone, which has allowed Neil to come full-circle in his career, and return to the academy he was an ECT in 31 years ago.

Neil is proud to be the Principal of TQEA and he believes it is a privilege to serve the community of Atherstone and its local areas. His drive is to help pupils to achieve outcomes, which support them to live happy and fulfilled lives.
