Nicola has worked in education since 2002, in a wide range of secondary settings. She has a strong commitment to ensuring every child has access to an excellent curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom so they can be the best they can be.
Nicola started as a PE and History teacher and has a passion for ensuring all young people have access to a strong academic, practical and culturally rich curriculum.
From 2009, Nicola has been a senior leader in an 11-18 comprehensive school. Her roles covered both pastoral and curriculum leadership included Assistant Principal, Director of Teaching & Learning, Vice Principal and Head of School. This school achieved good in two inspections during this time. In 2013, she started inspecting for Ofsted.
In 2019, Nicola joined our Trust as Principal of Mildenhall College Academy In 2022, she started working across the Trust on curriculum, and in 2023 became a Trust Principal working across two academies in Suffolk.
