Sara Bloor has worked in education since 2005 and brings a wealth of experience to her role as Principal of Star Academy, a position she took on in September 2022. Prior to this, she served as Deputy Headteacher at a local Staffordshire school from 2017, gaining extensive leadership experience across the primary phase.
Throughout her career, Sara has taught every year group from Nursery to Year 6, giving her a deep understanding of the primary curriculum and the developmental journey of children. She also holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
Sara is passionate about creating a nurturing, inclusive, and ambitious school environment where every child is supported to thrive—both academically and personally. Most recently, she has been appointed as Principal of Sun Academy Bradwell in addition to her role at Star.
