Shelley is the Lead Specialist Speech and Language Therapist at the Child and Educational Psychology Practice. With 18 years’ experience across NHS and private services, she supports children aged 0–18 in mainstream and specialist settings and is passionate about early intervention and education.

This training explores early language development from birth to five and how speech, communication and interaction influence readiness for Early Years Education. It examines barriers to communication development and demonstrates how early identification, inclusive practice and family partnership improve access, engagement and long‑term outcomes.
