In her most recent role as Quality Director at Remit Training, a national training provider specialising in Apprenticeship provision, Elaine created and led the implementation a comprehensive Journey to Excellence Strategy, which resulted in an Ofsted Outstanding judgement within the planned 3 years. She has previous Senior Leadership Team experience in schools and large complex General Further Education colleges in the East and West Midlands and is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Autism at Sheffield Hallam University.
Elaine has a strong track record in leading quality improvement in curriculum, teaching and learning and student services and has supported the transformation of organisations which required improvement. Her previous experience as a parent governor at a Derbyshire Junior School and recent experience as Chair of the Education Standards Committee at a West Midlands based Multi-Academy Trust, stands her in good stead to support and challenge Academy Transformation Trust leaders in placing young people at the heart of excellence.
