ECF Visiting Fellow – Cohort Lead | The Queen Elizabeth Academy

I have been an ECF Visiting Fellow from the launch stage and I have worked with both Year 1 and 2 ECTs and Mentors.

I love working with new colleagues in the profession. I am passionate about teaching and love working with and supporting the development of newly established teachers.

“I have been a Visiting Fellow for the ECT programme since its launch and it has been great to work with ECTs and mentors from across the trust. Facilitating the training has allowed me to work on my own classroom and management practice and has really made me think about how and why we learn. Cat and Katie are always on hand to support if there are areas of the training that need further explanation and it has been invaluable working with other expert colleagues across the trust to support teachers who are new to the profession. Being a Visiting Fellow is certainly one of the best aspects of my job and gives me lots of job satisfaction”.
