A CIPFA-qualified chartered accountant, Mo joined ATT in August 2023 as Deputy CEO and heads up the Trust’s finance, estates and HR functions.
Mo has a breadth of experience built up over more than two decades across finance, estates, project management, procurement, contracts, governance, HR and legal.
Prior to joining ATT, Mo was the Chief Financial Officer at Lionheart Educational Trust, which is one of the largest regional Trusts in the Midlands. At Lionheart, he was instrumental in modernising and centralising the finance department, which resulted in the team being shortlisted for MAT finance team of the year in 2022.
Before joining Lionheart, he worked at the Department for Education for seven years at which he was responsible for delivery of over twenty new school building projects across the Midlands, including new buildings for ATT at The Queen Elizabeth Academy in Warwickshire that opened in 2016.
Mo has also worked in local government and the NHS. His focus at ATT will be on further developing support functions within the Trust and ensuring ATT maintains a strong financial foundation.
