How Do We Improve?

We care about our colleagues’ needs, so listening to them helps us to continuously improve. We recently undertook a Trust-wide survey. The results told us that we’re good at taking the professional needs of colleagues into account through our ATT Institute; our line managers listen to the views of their staff; we have open communication with employees; our colleagues appreciate being part of their academy and wider Trust teams, and feel positive about the support they receive.

Apprenticeships

At Academy Transformation Trust, we support and promote apprenticeships for employees as a way to develop our people and support them on their career path. We work with trusted partners to deliver a huge range of courses through our ATT Institute. With apprenticeships spanning teaching, leadership, and support responsibilities, we can help every one of our colleagues access learning that is relevant to their role.

See below some testimonials from former apprentices across our Trust on how their apprenticeships have helped kickstart their careers:

Shannon Harrison, Bristnall Hall Academy

Learning Support Assistant  |  Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

During my time at Bristnall Hall my experience was extremely positive and full of joy. I feel that I have become a part of a community in which I feel privileged to be a part of. I have built relationships with students and staff that have welcomed me and supported me in my studies and created a wonderful and safe environment. I look forward to continuing my journey within the academy in the future as I’m sure it will be as enjoyable as it has been.

Oluoma Anyanegbu, Bristnall Hall Academy

Safeguarding Administrator  |  Business Administration Apprenticeship

Joining ATT has provided me with the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst working as a Safeguarding Administrator. I’ve had a great experience learning on the job which has enabled me to develop my existing knowledge and skills. I have enjoyed liaising with various external agencies to support children and young people. I am currently working towards completing a degree in Youth Work with the support of ATT to further develop my career.

Alex Leung, ATT Regional

Network Manager  |  Level 3 IT Technician Apprenticeship

I was provided with an incredible opportunity by ATT to complete a Level 3 IT Technician apprenticeship. Throughout the course, I received amazing support which has helped me improve my knowledge and skills. This has led to me being promoted from an apprentice to a fulltime IT Technician and now currently as a Network Manager for ATT in just under 2 years.

Monika Samulnik, ATT Central

Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk

With the combination of working for Academy Transformation Trust whilst also studying toward an ATT accounting qualification, I have been able to develop my skills, knowledge and gain work experience and professional education level at the same time.

I am very grateful for this opportunity, and for the support and guidance from my line manager and colleagues. At Academy Transformation Trust there is a variety of apprentice schemes available to choose from, not only for finance but also for HR, administration, or teaching.
